Candle ‘stamping’ Decorating Technique – Summer Silhouettes

Hi Folks,

Another beautiful day!!!

Doesn’t everything just look and feel so different when the sun is out. And it’s the weekend, so everything is wonderful 🙂

Anyhow, down to the business at hand.

I’ve had so many requests to show how I ‘stamp’ my candles so I’ve pulled together a quick video tutorial. I do hope you enjoy it. If you’ve any questions, just drop me a comment or email me to I would love to hear from you.

If any of you wish a tutorial on the sponged candle, let me know and I will get to it at the next opportunity.

  1. Hi Lilli, gorgeous candles! Would love to know how you sponge the candle backgrounds! Your work is amazing! Thank you for sharing your creativity and talent. Pam

    • Hi Pam. Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. I really appreciate it. I’m so glad you liked the candles. I’ve just today uploaded another video showing how I did the sponge background so possibly that might be of interest to you. I have to warn you that it definitely wouldn’t win any video recording awards and my poor IPhone decided to stop working/videoing at the last section so I had to add a little bit on. Hopefully however it will show the technique for you even if it doesn’t win any photographic awards lol. 🙂

  2. Hi Lilli, I just love your videos. Many thanks, I will be trying this for sure. Are you still a demo? I became a demo in feb 17 and am loving it. I also love to hear your accent as I am from Belfast originally, now living in Gloucester and I miss home so much. xxx

    • Hi Jennifer. Thanks for taking the time to comment and for the lovely feedback. Yes I’m still a demo and I have to say my classes are going very well but I do have to get myself a bit better organised for blogging. It’s hard to find enough hours in a day. lol. I’m so glad to hear you’ve joined SU. I’m absolutely passionate about it. There’s not one thing about it that I don’t love. Good luck with your demoship. I had a quick visit of your blog. It’s really lovely. Well done with that. Aw I’m sure you do miss home. There’s nowhere quite like this wee country. How long have you been away?
